Two of my new costumes worn at a comic and film Convention in Bonn, Germany : I wanted to do another strange Cosplay as I learned how to work with clay and plaster during a workshop at my school so I began with Popeye's chin. Now I know how to work with Latex and I'm nearer to my dream Cosplay than before..... You will know what it is when it's finished! ^^   cosplayers : me as... [Lire la suite]

After two conventions (Munich and Ludwigshafen)

What interests me in costume-making is the physical transformation of a body which can influence the behaviour and relation to the surroundings. It is like 'try something else' for a short moment. (My own family does not recognise me :D) "How far can I push it, where is the limit of the possibilities of transformation?   photos : Zynicus I visited two conventions during some free time around easter. It is not really "holiday", rather a moment I wasn't in art school all the time. :D  One of these conventions was near... [Lire la suite]

I got to improve my technique, so I did one two things after each day of Videoformes's internship. - A tiny molding exercise I did this evening, I just finished the second side of the four sides this evening (the bottom will be the casting/molding opening in the final printing). plaster mold and silicone. . . molding workshop 2011 at the esacm

Here some pictures of the past three days. This workshop was really enriching and very interesting! The artist, Frank, who taught us all these things was joking with us all the time, but he was always there for a dozen of students! Really remarkable, I'm really thankful I had the chance to participate.Transform my body's shape by first molding my hands. These are for two different projects : I didn't care their look so much, they are the base for other constructions (animalic hands, Popeyearms etc). He did my left hand, I did the... [Lire la suite]
